Just published in Springer Nature's Journal of Robotic Surgery! A team of UK researchers & physicians evaluated a hands-on #VirtualReality workshop for medical trainees to develop #RoboticSurgery skills—no live animals needed. This study bolsters the case for ethical, tech-driven training. Unfortunately, some companies still rely on live animals, like pigs, for surgical training, placing profit over ethics.
