The building that housed our original headquarters, located at 630 West Tenth Street in Pittsburg, CA, was recently demolished. The building anchored our business for many years.    Though the bathroom plumbing rarely worked correctly, and people had offices in closets, all the time spent together in close quarters helped make us who we are today. We moved our main office down the street some years ago.    We still have our warehouse next door, so it was bittersweet to see this old relic get knocked down. Our team is removing, marking, and crating each item at the facility for shipment to Chicago, IL. We are utilizing composite crews of pipefitters, boilermakers, millwrights, carpenters, and laborers to get the job done in an effective and timely manner. We attended the NCMCA (Northern California Mechanical Contractor’s Association) Scholarship Dinner at Scott’s Seafood in Jack London Square, Oakland, CA.   94 applicants were awarded scholarships of varying amounts. We are currently utilizing composite crews of pipefitters, boilermakers, millwrights, carpenters, and laborers to remove, package, and ship an entire energy bar manufacturing facility from Fairfield, CA, to Chicago, IL. This time lapse shows only one part of this complex project. We want to congratulate Frank Ures, Jr., who was recently promoted to Construction Manager at our Sacramento office.   Frank has been a pipefitter out of Local 447 for over 30 years, and has worked at PMI for over 25 of those years in various roles, including welder, supervisor, and leader. He has a wife and three children, and one granddaughter, and enjoys the outdoors, being on the ocean, hunting, and fishing. #EMCOR #Congratulations

John Eseltine was recently promoted to Northern California Construction Manager. He has been a steamfitter for almost 25 years, and is grateful to have worked with both his father (Jack Eseltine) and uncle (Bob Himel) as a steamfitter.
