Earlier today, Team Honda HRC Progressive alongside the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation visited the Infusion Center at Cook Children's Medical Center to connect with patients and their families. The team had a great time meeting children and their families, sharing their love of racing while emphasizing their commitment to raising awareness and support for these families. For this year's SuperMotocross series, Team Honda HRC Progressive is proudly riding in style, representing some familiar characters from the Imaginary Friend Society. Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's Chief Marketing and Mission Experience Officer, Ian Joyce, had the opportunity to meet with members of the neuro-oncology team at Cook Children’s to learn more about their incredible work and how the PBTF can further support them. A huge thank you to Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) for their ongoing partnership and to Cook Children's Health Care System for making this day unforgettable. Be sure to stay tuned as we share other highlights from the upcoming race tomorrow!

  • Although pediatric low-grade gliomas are sometimes described as “benign,” these “benign” tumors have life-altering consequences that can take away the ability of a child to achieve the life they dreamed of. No child should have their dreams stolen by a brain tumor diagnosis. With your help, we’re working to create a world where childhood brain tumors are more quickly diagnosed, treatments are safe and effective, and patients not only survive, but thrive and live the lives they dream of.
