On October 28, 2024, we celebrated the groundbreaking of a new school for deaf-blind children at the Philip J. Rock Center & School in Glen Ellyn, IL. The school's students, community leaders, and local officials, including Representative Terra Costa Howard, Representative Jennifer Sanalitro, Senator Seth Lewis, and Congressman Sean Casten, gathered to sign the ceremonial I-beam that will be integrated into the new building. The new facility will include classrooms, dormitories, and sustainable designs, aiming for USGBC LEED Silver certification. We are honored to be the general contractor to build a facility that will provide a positive environment for students for years to come. Thank you to our partners at Illinois Capital Development Board, Philip J Rock Center & School, LCM Architects for their collaboration!

Our project at the Philip J. Rock Center and School was filmed for a feature on CBS News Chicago! We’re grateful for the chance to build a fantastic school that will serve individuals with hearing and visual impairments for years to come. At Path Construction, we believe that this new building represents new opportunities. We’re proud to partner with LCM Architects and the Capital Development Board to create a unique facility that nurtures staff and students. This week, we're starting the excavation for the foundation of a multi-family apartment unit at 1237 N. California Ave, in partnership with the Hispanic Housing Development Corporation and the Chicago Department of Housing! This project, which results from the community's collective efforts, aims to provide affordable housing for the Humboldt Park community in Chicago. We're committed to building an excellent space from the ground up. In this video, you'll hear from some of our construction workers bringing this building to life.

Exciting progress is underway for Lake County's new Regional Operations and Communications Facility (ROC) in Libertyville, IL. The 37,426 sq. ft. building, constructed on a 21-acre site using recycled and locally sourced materials, will accommodate 34 telecommunicator positions. The facility features solar panels, a rain garden with native plants, an outdoor patio for staff, and informative walkways showcasing ROC and renewable energy initiatives.
