Congratulations to Jessica Sagar, Program Assistant for HCBA, on receiving Employee of the Month for August. Jessica's journey with Partners in Care Foundation began in October of 2023. Her unique blend of skills, developed during her time as a pastry chef and through her education in Computer Science, quickly made her an asset to the HCBA program. Not only did she bring her attention to detail and innovative thinking to the role, but she also demonstrated exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. In her early days with HCBA, Jessica identified areas where processes could be improved and immediately took initiative to enhance efficiency. Her expertise in Microsoft Office programs allowed her to bring a fresh perspective to HCBA, and she was soon entrusted with various report writing tasks, the creation of insightful dashboards for data tracking, and the development of other methods to showcase the program's success. Jessica's dedication to her role was evident from the start, combined with her kind and approachable demeanor, made her a key member of the team in a short amount of time. She consistently excelled in all her tasks and took pride in her contributions to the overall success of HCBA.

Congratulations to our August Employee of the Month Nancy Camacho! Nancy Camacho, recently joined Partners in Care Foundation as the Community Care Hub Manager on January 23, 2024, and has already proven to be an exceptional leader. Nancy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Spanish from UC Berkley and she has over eight years of experience working in health and human services. She oversees our Private Duty team as well as supports with the onboarding and recruitment of our Community Care Hub Network. She has successfully established workflows and onboarded new community care hub partners and has worked tirelessly to enhance service delivery and has improved workflows for efficiency. Nancy is patient, dependable, and fosters camaraderie. Her consistent dedication to delivering exceptional work has made a significant impact and her professionalism is exemplary. We commend you for the excellent work you have done in the short amount of time within our agency Nancy. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to our mission and we are thrilled to recognize your outstanding performance with the Employee of the month award.

Partners had a great time at today's Community Health Worker Job Fair hosted by Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC). Partners' staff in attendance were Shad Cruz, MSW, MSG, LCSW, Director of Workforce, Kayla Casarez, CHW Success Coach, and Nicholas Gonzalez, Partners' Community Linkages Specialist. We spoke to students who completed the CHW training and promoted new job opportunities within our Enhanced Care Management program. We had a great time as a booth exhibitor at today's Senior Information and Resource Fair hosted by The City of Carson. The fair included demonstrations from senior recreation classes, caregiver information, transportation resources, health care benefits, and much more. Representing the agency was Nicholas Gonzalez, the Community Linkages Specialist and Linda Castle, Community Wellness Program Coordinator. Attendees learned about our Multipurpose Senior Services Program (MSSP) and received information about upcoming Community Wellness workshops in the area.
