What started as a small garden with the intent to feed the hungry, Bonton Farms has grown into a thriving center of self-sufficiency. As the community's mission grows, there are even more opportunities to help. Parkhill's Dan Searight, AIA, RID, LEED AP, has been working with the neighborhood since the master planning and design of multifamily housing in 2020 and is now involved in the completion of the Wellness Center. The collaboration on these projects and the relationships we're building with the community demonstrate Bonton Farms being "more than a farm." After a visit to see the construction progress, Dan said, "A group of children from the neighborhood had been over on an outing to sign the inside of the framing and tour the project. Very cute stuff. I wanted to see that, and I signed the walls myself!" Bonton Farms Dan Searight AIA RID LEED AP #MoreThanAFarm #BuildingCommunity

Tulsa Airport Pavement Management Plan and Perimeter Road Rehabilitation 📍 Tulsa, Oklahoma By providing a dedicated and well-maintained route for airport and tenant vehicles, an airport perimeter road helps to separate airport maintenance and operations traffic from regular aircraft traffic areas, reducing congestion and enhancing overall operational efficiency. Additionally, a perimeter road ensures that security personnel and emergency responders can quickly and safely access all areas of the airport, including the runway, taxiways, and more remote areas on site. All About Pavements, Inc. and Parkhill were chosen to undertake a pavement management plan at Tulsa International Airport. Parkhill's Aviation Team served as the lead for the rehabilitation of several miles of the perimeter road to implement the goals for safety and efficiency for the airport. Yesterday Parkhill Aviation and our Community Sector joined forces to assist the City Of Plainview, Hale County and the Plainview/Hale County Airport for a design charette for their new terminal building. It was an awesome experience seeing how the other side of Parkhill utilizes innovative technology to go from basic wants and needs to modeling a mock up of the group’s ideas in just a few short hours. Can’t wait to keep this project going!!! Luke Quebe Kreg Robertson @john

Glad to have participated in the latest Lone Star #Sustainability Forum in #SanAntonio! Umesh Atre and myself had the chance to take the stage and represent Parkhill among various experts in the #AEC and #Community #Planning industries. This year, the forum was full of exciting topics and discussions. Thanks a lot to the Institute for Leadership in Capital Projects (I-LinCP) for putting this together! I really enjoyed my time as part of this event! Also thank you to my co-panelists Daniel Boice, Michelle E. Garza , Mikel Wilkins , and moderator Leslie Antunez, MPA, ENV SP It was great to hear about the “hot topic” #urbanheatislands as well as the efforts and projects the San Antonio River Authority encourages with the use of #naturebasedsolutions From my end, I was happy to share our work with #data analysis and #algorithms from our #geospatial assessment of #equity for a #schooldistrict population in West TX, as well as introducing #planning2050 as one way #Cities and #Communities can ensure their critical #systems are #carbonneutral , just and livable for generations to come.
