Looking to level up your LinkedIn profile? Discover how ChatGPT can help you quickly assess and enhance your profile, along with other actionable tips from Paragon's Anna Marie Armstrong to boost your professional presence 👇 If you are looking to optimize your LinkedIn profile, ChatGPT can quickly assess your profile and provide specific recommendations on how to leverage LinkedIn for your professional development.   To give it a try, go to your LinkedIn profile and export it to a PDF format.  If you have a Premium membership to LinkedIn, you will click on the Resources button.  If not, click on the More button.  Then, save the PDF and upload it to ChatGPT.   Next, create a basic prompt asking ChatGPT to analyze your profile.  Here’s an example: “Provide an analysis of the attached LinkedIn profile and make suggestions on how to optimize it.”    When you hit enter, you will get a Summary, a List of Strengths, Areas for Improvement, and Recommendations for Optimization.   The following are some general recommendations for optimization to increase visibility, credibility, and engagement with the LinkedIn community:    Embed keywords to improve your profile’s visibility on searches. Like, share, and comment on posts by leaders in your practice area and industry. Instead of listing your job title as your Headline, create one highlighting multiple areas of expertise (i.e., Associate General Counsel I Corporate Secretary I Board Member I DEI Champion). Be sure to include a Profile Photo and post photos from conferences, speaking engagements, and other business travel. Encourage interaction with potential clients, hiring managers, and recruiters  (i.e., feel free to connect with me if you are looking for a skilled technology transactions and data privacy attorney). Include case studies and whitepapers.  Add metrics to your achievements and list certifications and awards. Reach out to colleagues and clients for recommendations and endorsements. In a conversation about company culture, someone recently asked me: “How do you promote your culture in an organization of contractors?” We are super proud of our culture at Paragon Legal, but interestingly because we have two different employee populations (corporate team and attorney team) we actually have two different employee cultures. And for our attorney team, it's actually a complicated question. On the one hand, fostering a sense of belonging boosts morale and retention. On the other hand, Paragon is specifically designed for attorneys who want flexibility and to choose their own adventure. We’ve experimented with a few different things - attorney forums to spark discussion, an annual All Hands gathering in San Francisco, in person networking events, to name a few. The results? Mixed. Some attorneys raved about the connections made, while others weren’t interested. So we took a step back and went went straight to the source. We asked our attorneys what truly mattered to them in a collaborative yet autonomous work environment. The most common response? A competitive salary, a flexible schedule, and great client opportunities - three things we have always prioritized. On top of that, Paragon invests in our attorney team like no one else in the industry - we give each attorney a dedicated Attorney Development contact who is solely focused on supporting that attorney throughout their tenure with Paragon. It's why we have an extremely high eNPS (employee NPS) - and probably the only measured eNPS in the industry. We still try to create opportunities for connection and team-building across our attorneys. But we always want to be optimizing for what matters to them. Every work environment is unique. The key is to ask your team what they want, and tailor your offerings accordingly.
