Rachel Griffin is making waves against #pancreaticcancer! 🏊♀️💜 In 2018, she began her pursuit of The Triple Crown in swimming, a tremendous physical feat that includes three of the world's toughest open water swims. 🌊 Only 331 people have ever completed the trifecta, and Rachel is gearing up to be the next! She has successfully completed the Catalina Channel (21 miles) in 2018 and the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim (28.5 miles) in 2019. During the last week of August 2024, weather permitting, she will attempt to cross the English Channel, raising awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer with every stroke. Rachel lost her mother, Patricia, to pancreatic cancer 16 years ago. In her honor, Rachel has a goal to raise $100,000 shared between three wonderful organizations, including PanCAN, as she trains and completes her final swim. Rachel says, "I know this journey will demand rigorous training—cold open water swims, countless hours at the pool and gym—testing my body and mind like never before. Yet, these challenges pale in comparison to the struggles faced by those battling cancer." 💜 Let's cheer on Rachel in the comments as she prepares to take on the English Channel! 👏
