Executive Recruitment for Packaging Industry Professionals - Packaging Recruiter Pros - 440-983-2077 - [email protected]

When applying for jobs, it's crucial to focus on quality over quantity. Submitting a resume that’s adjusted to fit the job you’re applying for will greatly increase your chances of landing an interview. As an executive recruiter, I’ve seen many candidates miss out simply because they didn’t take the time to customize their materials. To get noticed, start with a strong resume that you can easily adjust for different job opportunities. This way, you can quickly apply while still making your application stand out. First, narrow down your job search. Figure out the industries and job types that match your skills and interests, but don’t make your search too narrow. This way, you focus on jobs that are the best fit for you without missing good opportunities. Once you know your target jobs, create a core resume that highlights your skills in those areas. Looking at job descriptions will help you craft a resume that shows you’re a specialist in your field. Keys: * Focus your job search on roles that fit your skills and interests. * Create a core resume that highlights your expertise. * Adjust your resume for each job by matching it to the job description. * Highlight your most relevant experience and key skills. * Be honest about your skills and experience. When you find a job that interests you, go through the job description and update your resume to match it. Make sure your resume highlights specific skills and accomplishments that fit what the employer is asking for. Avoid the mistake of including too much information that isn’t related to the job. Keep your resume focused on what matters most for that particular role. If needed, update your past job titles or descriptions to match current industry terms. Lastly, while it’s important to tailor your resume, it’s even more important to be honest. Stretching the truth might get you an interview, but it won’t get you the job. Apply to positions where you have the right skills and let your resume reflect what you can truly do. By following these tips, you can increase your chances of getting noticed and landing that interview.

Executive Recruitment for Packaging Industry Professionals - Packaging Recruiter Pros - 440-983-2077 - [email protected]

How's the Packaging Market? It's the number one question for us these days. The packaging industry is going through a period of highs and lows. On one side, a drop in demand for consumables is leading some packaging manufacturers to cut back on production. Meanwhile, smaller to mid-sized companies are taking advantage of this shift, using that available talent to innovate or refresh their market strategies. Private equity is driving a wave of consolidation, which is creating opportunities for seasoned professionals who might not have considered a change before. This shake-up is opening doors for new possibilities across the industry. Although there's a looming fear of a recession, the actual data won't confirm anything until Q1 2025. I've seen this pattern every four years since 1996—uncertainty reigns until the post-election dust settles. From a recruitment standpoint, we're staying sharp and ready. We're finding success with companies looking to reposition themselves during this pre-election period of anticipation.

Right Place, Right Time OR Every Place, All the Time? Today's social media platforms are some of the best for finding candidates that have packaging knowledge. The industry is VERY active on LinkedIn, but how do you get their attention? At Packaging Recruiter Pros, we understand how to peak the interest of industry specific talent. These candidates do not typically reply to job postings on LinkedIn and the ones that do respond often do not have any industry experience. That's where we come into play. We are able to leverage a constant presence in the industry to not rely on luck to be in the right place at the right time. We are all the place, all the time. If you want to find out how to get the attention of those doing a good job in the packaging industry, reasonably happy, and not responding to job postings, then feel free to DM me regarding your packaging needs.

  • FTC Ruling Liberates Packaging Industry from Non-Competes In a groundbreaking move, the FTC has banned non-compete clauses, shaking up the packaging industry where such agreements were common. Historically used to protect proprietary information, these clauses often stifled competition and limited employee mobility. With this ruling, employers in packaging are freed from restrictive measures, allowing them to attract and retain top talent without legal constraints. The elimination of non-compete agreements fosters a more dynamic labor market, encouraging healthy competition and incentivizing companies to offer competitive wages and benefits. Employees benefit from newfound autonomy, able to pursue career opportunities based on merit rather than contractual obligation. This shift promotes trust and mutual respect between employers and employees, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the industry. https://lnkd.in/g-C3FUs5
