🚍 PCSD’s Side Tour: Showcasing Charter Facilities Development in Los Angeles 🚍 With so many partners in town for the Opportunity Finance Network (OFN) Conference, we took the chance to share our work in action with a special tour of three charter school campuses in downtown LA. Here’s a quick recap of the inspiring stops we visited: 🔹 Citizens of the World Los Angeles – Silver Lake Middle School  Our tour began with exciting news—this brand-new campus received its Temporary Certificate of Occupancy just hours before our visit! Located just a few blocks from the elementary school on Beverly Blvd, Silver Lake Middle School reflects Citizens of the World’s commitment to community-centered learning. With flexible, collaborative spaces shaped by PCSD, the grand opening is set for November 13 at 4:30 pm! 🔹 Equitas Academy Charter Schools 5/6  Next, we visited Equitas Academy’s Pico Blvd elementary campus, which opened in 2022. With bright classrooms and vibrant common areas, this facility fosters creativity and growth, perfectly aligned with Equitas’ mission to prepare students for college. The top-floor outdoor play space, complete with solar tubes, brings natural light into classrooms below, creating a truly engaging learning environment. 🔹 Ednovate Inc USC Hybrid High  Our final stop took us to USC Hybrid High on Vermont Ave, where Ednovate’s hybrid learning model comes to life. In service since 2018, the campus provides a perfect blend of in-person and digital learning spaces, equipping students with skills for a modern world. With a view of the new George Lucas Museum construction nearby, the school truly sits at the intersection of innovation and education.
