I am excited to finally officially announce that I will be doing my pHD with The George Institute for Global Health and UNSW My research will be looking specifically at barriers #women are experiencing in health-care (aged 18-65), and at how OVUM. Technology (A.I) can improve women's #engagement in their #health and in #preventative health behaviours. ✨☝️ This is such an important #milestone for OVUM. Technology because this means we can clinically validate Ovum as a preventative health tool for women across their lifespan, not just qualitatively but quantitatively. More so, this means we are not just testing OVUM. Technology in a community based setting but in a hospital setting. 👌 Hopefully, we can prove that our health system needs a complete transformation when it comes to women's health-care, and that OVUM. Technology is the solution! 💥 I could not have done this without the help of A/prof Amanda Henry who will be supporting me, and OVUM. It’s Women’s Health Week and we want to showcase founders working to support women’s health.   OVUM. Technology is Australia’s first women’s preventative health app founded by Dr Ariella Heffernan-Marks. The Ovum team envisions a world where healthcare is predictive not just reactive. Technology's goals to ☝ ; 1) Empower women with their #health #data, to engage women more in #preventative #health #behaviours and to - 💪 2) Guide women to seek #earlier #intervention & medical advice, when required to reduce rates of #hospital re-admissions and surgical intervention 🏥 3) Improve R&D for #medications, and other #treatments for women 💊 4) To help #health #funds create more women specific benefits & services 👩⚕️ 5) Ensuring #trust and #transparency about #data #security & #privacy with our customers 🔏 It is always nice to talk, and reflect on what you have #achieved, because sometimes you are so in the midst of it - you don't always just "stop to smell the roses". 🌹 I spoke with Omar just before the launch of our Pilot, and now I can proudly come back and say "we successfully validated our product, our hypothesis was correct, and overall women #LOVE ❤️ our solution" - it is such a #rewarding and #gratifying feeling, knowing your hard work has paid off. Wow! I am left speechless after the last two days at the Digital Health Festival 2024 ☝️This was a first time for OVUM. Technology - and what an absolute success. 🚀🚀 I am still blown away about how many people I met that had either heard of Ovum, or wanted to be a part of it! We have significantly increased the number of women, GPs, allied health, and potential investors who have signed up for our PILOT which will be LAUNCHING next week!! Every call, every decision, every mistake. Most of the time I feel I am making calls based off an intuitive sense of what my company needs. ☝️😊 Which is why it was so special to get so much support and validation about what I have created with OVUM.
