A big shoutout to Chick-fil-A for sponsoring our Christmas in July event! They brought in diapers, wipes, and other items for our kiddos. Plus, they provided 425 Chick-fil-A sandwiches to feed families at the event — yum! We're so grateful for their support!

Ending Homelessness | One Life At A Time
About us
Our mission is to minister the love of Jesus Christ to the Least, the Last, and the Lost of our Community through the provision of assistance in the areas of guidance, counseling, education, job training, shelter, food, clothing, health care and independent living communities. Our Philosophy: As a ministry is to operate in a dynamic, entrepreneurial manner, expecting to grow and expand numerically, programmatically, and geographically. We seek to be constantly challenged with fresh vision and well-prepared strategies that originate with the President and the senior professional staff, and that are refined, confirmed, and approved by the Board of Directors prior to implementation. Our Value: Inspiration of Hope in those we serve. Excellence in everything we do. Leadership centered on servanthood. Respect for each person as an inpidual. Integrity and accountability. Moving our clients toward self-sufficiency. Commitment to spiritual, emotional, social and vocational growth. Maintaining an environment that fosters teamwork, success and trust.

Mayor Valerie Amezcua, Mayor's Aide Claudia Perez, Executive Director of Community Development Michael Garcia, and Management Analyst Edward Rios were able to tour our Village of Hope campus and learn how we are serving homeless individuals and families. Meet Mieko Ishihara, our June Employee of the Month! 🎉 Mieko serves as a Senior Accounting Clerk at Hurtt Family Health Clinic, overseeing financial tasks across multiple locations including the clinic at Village of Hope! Her dedication to accuracy and compliance ensures smooth operations, and her commitment to our mission shines through her work every day. "While my role may often be perceived as 'behind the scenes,' I have had the privilege of interacting with some students and gaining insight into their life experiences, their stories, filled with authenticity and resilience that have provided me with a different view of life. Witnessing their journey from facing challenges to ultimately thriving and graduating, fills me with a profound sense of fulfillment, that my work is beyond just numbers, but a part of their success. I just bring my offering of 'two fishes and five loaves of bread,' and leave the rest for Jesus to complete the job and reaffirm my commitment to make a difference in the lives of others." Thank you for all your hard work, Mieko!

We're excited to announce that our new collaboration with Save the Storks, Mariners Church, and Horizon Pregnancy Clinic, called For Every Woman, will soon launch the Mobile Medical Clinic. This clinic will travel throughout Orange County to give pregnant women easy access to vital medical screenings and counseling. In cases where housing or support are the difference in whether a woman decides to give birth to her child, the Mobile Clinic team will offer her services at Orange County Rescue Mission as a next-step option.
