𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙗𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙗𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮? 🤔 SEO remains one of the few marketing strategies where the rewards compound over time, but it can be easy to overlook in favor of quick wins from paid ads. I was reading through OpenStore's new guide on Shopify SEO for 2024, and a couple of things hit home: ➡️ 𝗦𝗘𝗢 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝟯𝟱% 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟯𝟯% 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀. That’s not small. For all the money we pour into paid ads, organic traffic is still driving a third of revenue—without the ongoing spend. Yet, we often treat SEO as a secondary channel when it should be a core part of any growth strategy. ➡️ 𝗦𝗘𝗢 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗔𝗖, 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴. We’ve all seen the climb in advertising costs, and depending too much on them is risky. A well-executed SEO strategy lowers customer acquisition costs in the long term, building a more sustainable foundation for growth—one that isn’t at the mercy of fluctuating ad prices. The guide touches on on-page SEO tactics, keyword strategies, and even how to optimize for faster loading times (which could reduce bounce rates significantly). For those who’ve relied on paid search, this might be a good reminder that organic growth is more than a "𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦." It’s arguably essential if you’re serious about long-term sustainability. 🎯 𝗔𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗜’𝗺 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 – 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸, 𝗜 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁: 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁! I don’t usually dive into the logistics side of things, but our latest guide on 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 really opened my eyes to how crucial this is for e-commerce brands. Optimizing inventory doesn’t just cut costs; it directly impacts cash flow, customer satisfaction, and ultimately, a business's ability to scale. 💡 While this isn’t my area of expertise, it’s incredible to see how OpenStore fine-tunes these processes to scale operations and manage more than 40 Shopify brands. Knowing how important operations like this are makes me appreciate even more how marketing and fulfillment go hand-in-hand to grow a brand. 🚀 If you (or anyone in your network) is running an e-commerce business on Shopify, this guide is a goldmine. Check it out below – you’ll see just how big a difference the right inventory strategy can make. 📦 #Ecommerce #ShopifySuccess #InventoryManagement #MarketingAndOps #BusinessGrowth #ShopifySellers #SaaS #LearnEveryDay 👉 https://lnkd.in/gc3BrXG7

Head of Merchant Acquisitions @OpenStore (We're Hiring!)

Every e-commerce founder wants the answer to one question: As OpenStore employee #2, I've had the privilege of meeting with hundreds of founders, diving deep into their businesses, and understanding why they're considering their next step. Every conversation circles back to one burning question: “What do I need to do to make my business irresistible to buyers?" If you’re curious about what really catches our eye, keep reading—you might be surprised. 🧨 Your business is playing in an exploding category. A rising tide lifts all ships, especially in e-commerce. Acquirers want to see that the market you’re playing in is growing rapidly. Usually, this shows up in the form of affordable customer acquisition costs (CACs) that allow you to be profitable on a customer’s first purchase. 🔑 You’ve taken steps to make your business turnkey for a new owner. Acquirers want to be able to jump into the driver’s seat seamlessly. That means you’ve streamlined your marketing operations, partnered with a third-party logistics partner (3PL), and have strong documentation on how to get your product into customers’ hands (e.g., product development workflows, supplier contacts, order processing manuals, quality control guidelines). 💰You’ve financed your business responsibly. Running a successful brand means striking a delicate balance between financing inventory & marketing. When you have a cash crunch, acquirers want to see that you’ve avoided taking on high-interest debt or dilutive equity financing. Be mindful of unnecessary expenses & salary as you focus on reinvesting as much cash as possible back into your business. If you’re generating $250k-$4m in profitable revenue, primarily through a US-based Shopify store, let’s chat. Whether you’re exploring an exit or just want to learn more about getting your business ready for a sale, reach out to me at [email protected] or learn more at https://lnkd.in/efiKp4-v #shopify #ecommerce #openstore #miamitech

Managing 45+ Shopify Storefronts at OpenStore

🚨 Are Your Shopify Apps Draining Your Store’s Potential? At OpenStore, managing 45+ Storefronts at scale has taught us that a critical part of post-acquisition success is the integration process. This involves closely collaborating with the founders, gaining insights directly from them, and conducting a thorough audit of the brand’s tech stack (i.e. understanding what theme and apps the brand uses). For us to successfully operate reliable and increasingly optimized storefronts, we need to standardize key aspects of the store while maintaining or exceeding performance and retaining the identity of the brand. Throughout this process, I have been somewhat surprised to learn that many merchants don’t have a very good handle on every app they (or an agency they hired) installed. One brand we acquired had over 50 apps that weren’t even being used! Here’s why it’s really important to regularly review the apps installed in your store: 1.  Optimization: If you’re not regularly reviewing performance and optimizing, you’re not maximizing the opportunity of a given app.  2. Cost Efficiency: Unused or redundant apps could be eating into your budget. 3. Performance: Outdated or poorly integrated apps can slow down your site or cause conflicts. 4. New Features: Apps often update with new features that could benefit your store. 5. Security: Regular reviews help ensure that apps remain secure and compliant. Make it a habit to audit your apps at least quarterly, especially as Q4 approaches. Your store—and your customers—will thank you! Need help with this? I’m doing FREE audits in preparation for BFCM for the first 5 brands to ask!
