Wellness and Fitness Services

Empowering healthier, higher-performing athletes.

About us

Oomph is a first-of-its-kind, caffeine-free sports performance powder proven to increase endurance, strength, focus, and recovery. Too many athletes sacrifice their long-term health for short-term performance. While pre-workouts, energy drinks, and caffeine shots have their place, each has harmful side effects, and none was designed specifically for the demands of sport—which requires sustained aerobic endurance in addition to energy & alertness. So we gathered the best ingredients in the world and made what we always wished we had: a caffeine-free, NSF Certified, all-natural supplement proven to elevate our performance during activities that work our lungs as much as our muscles, whether it be a hard practice, a game, a run/ride/swim, or anything else in between. At Oomph, our mission is to give you a sustainable competitive edge and help you get the most out of your body & mind in training and competition. We hope you'll join us in that pursuit.

Last week I climbed Mt. Everest! Not literally, but I did do 29,000 ft of climbing as part of my "Peak Week" for the upcoming Moab 240 race. Peak week is the week of max effort ahead of tapering down for an event. The week always brings a mix of emotions: nervous because it means the event is near, excitement because you are close to seeing it all come together, and fear because you know the week isn't going to be fun. This time I took slightly different approach. Given the unique nature of my upcoming race, I compressed it down into 4.5 days (the duration of the race). A half mile up the road from my house is the entrance to a trail that goes up a little mountain. One trip up and back is 725 ft of climbing. This peak week was both a physical and mental challenge as I completed 40 trips (112 miles / 29k ft of climbing). 29k ft happens to be roughly the amount of climbing I will need to do during my race and also happens to be the height of Mt. Everest, so I sort of climbed Mt. Everest. My body held up well, largely due I think to my proactive approach to recovery. Besides just consuming a ton of calories, Oomph and Precision Fuel & Hydration made all the difference as I dealt with heat, rain, 3 snakes, and even a bee sting. Glad to have the week behind me. Now I get to focus on final preparations for the upcoming Moab 240 race. No idea what the actual race will bring but see you at the starting line in just over 3 weeks.

We received this awesome note from a professional rugby player that made us incredibly proud of the product we've worked hard to create. We love hearing our athletes' success stories. They are exactly why we started Oomph. We know your body is your livelihood and we are so grateful for your trust. Excited for the future. Keep getting after it!

With your help, we can make sports accessible to everyone! Last year, the Provo United Special Olympics team had to start from zero. Due to changes in team structures in the area, they were left with no uniforms, equipment or funding. Since then, thanks to the work of incredible parents and volunteers, the team (which serves those in the community 8+ years old with intellectual disabilities) has helped more than 80 Special Olympics athletes find joy, confidence, and fulfillment. But as the team has grown, it has struggled to keep up with the resources, equipment, and travel expenses of a larger team. With your help, we can change that! -- On Saturday, August 24, we will be partnering with Provo United to hold The Oomph Games : a collaborative fundraising event to raise the funds these athletes need to keep their team going strong. The event will consist of athletic competitions, prizes, games, and other activities. -- If you can't attend but still want to help make this dream a reality, give what you can through this campaign. Every dollar will go directly to Special Olympics Provo United and their group of amazing athletes. Thank you so much for your support!

Have you ever chased a dream? A goal others think is crazy? One that doesn’t fit neatly into other people’s ideas of what you’re “supposed” to be doing? What your days “should” look like? “Take it easy,” they say. “You’re working too hard,” “good luck with that.” All statements we’ve heard before. “How long are you gonna do that for?” They ask. “What happens if it doesn’t work out?” “What’s your backup plan?” All questions we’ve heard before. But not everyone gets it. That consistent, daily striving is a way of life. That expanding your potential is what the human experience is supposed to be about. That the diligent pursuit of a worthy goal is an end unto itself. But if you know, you know. USA Skeleton athlete Bradley Nicol knows. And he is a shining example of what it means to continually rethink your limits. We salute him and everyone else who is pushing themselves in the pursuit of a dream. Chase greatness.

We're constantly inspired by athletes like Matt Dyer who just ran the Yeti 100: a 100-mile endurance run in Washington state. Glad we could play a role in fueling this absolute legend. Keep crushing it!

First 42 miles down and feeling good. Some quick rest and refueling and them back to it. My fueling and recovery secret? Check out what the Oomph team is building. Been using it for the past month and it’s made all the difference, better endurance and faster recovery. Note 1) this was not a paid endorsement, it just works and 2) no I didn’t break my legs…yet (they are compression sleeves to help with swelling).
