One Stop Windows and Doors

Field Trip Friday!!!! Started the week by doing a job walk with Joaquin and Erich. An awesome home in Manhattan beach, home owner has had the home for 15 years…and the dream of “making it our own” is happening!!!! We are so glad to be able to help out with this one. Right after that, Erich and I made our way to Hermosa beach to meet up with our One Stop Windows and Doors Installation Crew as they were unloading glass. My first time at this jobsite and it was quite impressive…. One of my Bestest Friends, Lauran Carter from LaCantina Doors brought our entire team in Torrance lunch! She exemplifies what a “Great Partner” is as a rep, employee, friend, and overall good human being!!!! After that, Joe Marian and I did a quick service run to help out our buddy Valerie Virula…mission accomplished!!!! Woop woop!!! Joe and I then made our way to the new install that the team is working on…..HOLY GUACAMOLE!!!!!! This place was monster. From the street, you can only see the roof line…the home is over 13k square feet in Palos Verdes (enough that while walking it, our installer lost track of us and had to call Joe to find us😂😂😀). Since it was hot out, we picked up cold drinks for the guys and I may have claimed a 7-Eleven basket (I promised I will return it). Also….my wife and so celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary….we decided on a nice dinner without the boys at Terranea Resort in Nelson’s (awesome atmosphere vibe if you ever get the chance to partake)

I recently had an opportunity to check on the progress of one of my projects in Beverly Hills for a musical icon. This stunning property off Mulholland Drive features full city and ocean views. Unfortunately, heavy fog obscured the view beyond the property line. Just take a look at the impressive scale of the entry hall! The rear opening is approximately 32 feet wide and 20 feet tall. The four panels will pocket into the stairwell, creating an open grand entry hall without any visual obstructions. We needed a solid product to meet these specifications. We specified Fleetwood Windows and Doors for the entire project. Significant effort went into aligning the design aesthetics with the functionality of this mansion. Field Trip Friday didn’t allow me to get out of the office, but I got to live vicariously through our One Stop Windows and Doors Installations Team!!!!! It literally took a TEAM (and a bit of coordination) to pull this one off!!!! A Fleetwood Windows & Doors package that include a 16’ tall (yes…a 16’ tall) door system. Items included in this install were a crane, a rooftop, patience, and a lot of hands!!!! The end result: a door installed, excellent team communication, and an afternoon on the beach….

IBS 2024!!!!!!!!!! What an AMAZING trip it was! I started the party a day early with my teammate/friend, Harrison…we decided to get into town Monday and have a little fun before the show. After finishing our work day, we met up at the Bellagio for dinner. After that we met up with our good friends from Loewen, Andrew Kelly and Nick Wall and just enjoyed the moment (got to meet up with Tyler Sampson during day one and catch on work, life and family). A great first night!!! The next morning the rest of the crew from One Stop Windows and Doors arrived and we hit the NAHB International Builders' Show. First stop was at the Fleetwood Windows and Doors booth and caught up with Kimberly Koza, Adam Ruiz, Dan Giboney, and Henry Macias. Loved looking at the NEW Edge Pivot door and the new display set up. From there we caught up with Jamie Wizenberg and our friends at CS Cavity Sliders. Caught up with Laurie McCowan and. Donovan Kosman along with the super energetic marketing team of Jessica Dunning and Johnathan Zhu(congrats to both of you on your one year at CS!!) and we are looking forward to all the future content they provide….from there Jamie took us on a tour of the hall. We next hit up the LaCantina Doors display and took the chance (as always) to connect for a few moments with Sarah Rota and Josh Cole. Loved pulling Josh into a picture (what a good sport😂😂). Sorry we missed you Lauran Carter….. We then made it over to the Weather Shield Windows and Doors display and met up with Jeffrey FitzGerald, Mitchell Schield, Chris Schield, and Ryan Bittner. They had a cycling switch glass display and and awesome looking pivot door! A fun set up. One of my most favorites moments of the show was going back the second day to look for one person in specific, Joshua Koch!!!! I met Josh in my trip out to Weathershield in August. He was just entering his role and looked nervous…I got the green light to give him some advice and was so happy to see him thriving!!!! It was a great moment when he saw me and came right over. We chatted for about 20 min and just got to catch up….i am so excited for what this young man is going to do in this industry and glad that he knows he has support from all over…. My MOST FAVORITEST moment was spread out over 2.5 days…..I got to spend it with a handful of my teammates and just have a good time!!! I got the opportunity to just sit and talk/walk/gamble😏 and more importantly, grow the relationships with everyone! Thank you to Francisco Burgos, Joann Zwagerman, Richard Krall, Chris Milici, Michelle, and Harrison for the amazing memories!!!! Already looking forward to next year!!!! **side note: last year we saw the sphere being built. We unfortunately did not get a chance to see it much while we were there, but the view of it taking off in the plane was insane!!!!

Field Trip Friday turned into FILL OUR BELLIES FRIDAY!!!!!! After the last few weeks of welcoming some new teammates, and welcoming one back….myself and Joaquin wanted to take care of the team for lunch!!!! Crock Pot Carne Asada Street Tacos….a total success!!!! Loving the direction that our One Stop Windows and Doors team is moving in!!!! **special thanks to the amazing seasoning from Dan-O's Seasoning for taking it to another level!!!!
