We're bringing back healthy local food systems that help communities be healthy and thrive through stone-milling!
About us
One Mighty Mill is a certified B-Corp on a mission to bring the original superfood back to the table -- Fresh-Milled Flour. To do it, we are rebuilding our own healthy food system from the soil up. We start by sourcing organic wheat directly from farmers who promote the highest levels of sustainability and healthy soil. And we build our own stone mills to produce living, nutritious flour. Our flour is the cornerstone of our line of whole wheat, fresh-milled bagels, pretzels, and tortillas. We can fix flour - but to do so we need to start by fixing the broken food system to make flour healthier for our bodies and planet.

Most every day of the year, we are on a mission to stand up to the industrialization of food. We’re too busy for shenanigans or patting ourselves on the back. But, last Friday, September 6th, was our 6th birthday 🥳 and a good time to take a moment to celebrate all that we have accomplished together and the fun that lies ahead. This past Mighty year we… 💪 milled 1,000,000 lbs of local organic wheat, which is up 66% vs. what we milled in year five 🛒 sold over 300,000 loaves of stone-milled organic wheat bread at Costco, making high-quality, nutritious bread more accessible at an affordable price 🖍 served 75,000 students our stone-milled bagels and pizza crusts 🥯 have 10 stone mills operational in three states: Massachusetts, New York, and California 🚌 partnered with 7 school systems in historically underinvested communities across MA and RI 🤝 had 15 employee owners of One Mighty Mill and remain committed to providing shares to all our full time employees, with 4 new owners coming in year 7 🌾 have 4MN lbs of wheat under contract with organic farmers in California, New York and Montana, which is up 33% over year five This past year has indeed been Mighty! Here’s to many more Mighty celebrations for many years to come! And thank you for your support in making this stone-milling dream a reality ✨

“Soul of The City: Jack Connors Remembered” was the front page headline of The Boston Herald this week. And in a way that’s hard to explain, Jack was and always will be part of the soul of One Mighty Milll (and me). It’s a long, strange story how this legend of a man - a man who could've spent his time and money on anything - ended up being the first investor in a stone mill in Lynn, MA. But, if you knew Jack, you know it made sense. He was a man who gave everything he had to the underdog and to whatever idea, business, nonprofit, and/or person that could help others and make a positive change. (The guy built a Summer camp for under-served kids on an island in the Boston Harbor! Then, raised $200 million dollars to make sure that the camp helps kids forever!!) Somehow, I was lucky enough to be among the many, many people whose lives Jack changed by believing in them, mentoring them, and giving to them. On the day that I officially left my previous company (and a time when I was scared and down), Jack called me and said, “Whatever you do next, I’m in it with you. Just let me know where to send the check.” It’s Jack’s “check” of toughness, generosity, enthusiasm, and love that will live on forever in One Mighty Mill. We will never stop fighting to be a company and a team that makes Jack Connors proud.

Mama we made it 🕺– to all Erewhon grocery stores! LA cool girls rejoice, your favorite certified organic retailer and spot for Hailey Bieber smoothie collabs is now also home to our Mighty stone-milled breads. But no matter the store, we are always so excited when we launch at another retailer because that means we are one step closer to our goal of standing up to industrial food, and bringing the nutritional richness of organic, Non-GMO whole grains to even more individuals – especially those who are looking for a bread option without any refined sugars and seed oils. Make sure to follow along here and as always, with our Co-Founder Jon Olinto for more updates about our small but ✨Mighty start-up Did you catch our own Director of Field Marketing, David Rosenfeld, in Erewhon with our bread below? If you haven’t heard yet, we have launched our very own YouTube channel filled with feel good, behind the scenes, real moments from our start-up. 🚀 Most recently, we shared episode 3 of our Stone-Milled Start Up series pulling back the curtain of our launch and Costco road shows earlier this year. Episode 3 follows Co-Founder Chef Tony and Director of Field Marketing, David - who also happens to be Chef Tony’s older brother - as they took on our 1st Costco Road Show in sunny San Diego back in April. We're excited to connect with our Mighty Fam✨ in a whole new way and share the heart and soul of One Mighty Mill in a way that feels authentic to us. Subscribe to our channel and join us on this journey to revolutionize the way we eat wheat, bread, bagels, and tortillas - one mighty mill at a time. 💪 #StartUp #CPG #HealthFood #Brand #YouTube #HealthAndWellness 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eG_jdjzF

Costco LA update
No bread in my suitcase this time, but my bag is packed again for LA. I booked this trip knowing we had 1 week left in our 8-week Costco "rotation". So, I planned to go down with the ship and demo in stores as much as possible at the finish line. That changed on Tuesday. We got word that Costco LA is extending our rotation! Now I'm in LA to demo for 4 days to try and make sure they never tell us to leave. (I'll be in Culver City, Norwalk, Yorba Linda, and Fullerton for the next 4 days if anyone out there wants a stone-milled sample.)
