To the families, friends, and champions that have stood with us - THANK YOU! Being able to support families in this way would not be possible without your commitment and dedication.

🔴 Every 2 minutes a child is trafficked for sexual exploitation in the United States. To address this issue, we've teamed up with @goyacares to do a series of trainings across the Western United States to show their video, LIGHT, as well as discuss the signs of human trafficking and the dangers of online exploitation. "By raising awareness and providing preventative education, we can be the light that helps survivors and prevents future victims, effectively stopping human trafficking," said Olive Crest CEO, Donald Verleur. Olive Crest - Strong Families, Safe Kids reposted this
These two daughers of mine graduated from high school this month. The daughter on the right is my biological daughter, the oldest of three siblings, who worked hard for 4 years so she would hopefully be accepted to SDSU, where she will begin this Fall. The daughter on the left is a young lady who lived with us for six months 11 years ago through Olive Crest's Safe Families program. She got sidetracked from her education when she became a teen mom while in the foster system and even though the odds were against her, she didn’t let that stop her. She worked almost full time as a single mom while plugging away at her GED and because of the support of Olive Crest’s Wraparound program and her Court Appointed Special Advocates of Orange County (CASA OC), I’m so proud to say that she finally graduated from high school also this past June. Our family is celebrating both of these young ladies and have so much hope and excitement for all that is ahead. If you have a passion for at risk youth, Olive Crest - Strong Families, Safe Kids is one of many amazing organizations that is worth supporting. There are so many kids in need of homes, mentors and help so if this is an area that you are curious about, let me know and I’d be happy to share all that we’ve learned over the past decade!

"For the first time in my life, I know what peace feels like." This is what Anna* shared after spending 8 months at our Hope Refuge Campus, a safe place for girls, ages 12 to 17, to heal from the horrors of sexual exploitation. During her time at the Hope Refuge Campus, Anna graduated from high school, secured a part-time job, and is prepared to start college in the fall. We are so proud of her and can't wait to see all she accomplishes! You can read more of Anna's story here https://buff.ly/3KPjl3O *name changed to protect identity
