Olden Lane is pleased to offer a Comment Letter addressing the NCUA’s Proposed Rule on Succession Planning. Our letter backs the agency’s efforts to emphasize the importance of succession planning to the proper continuity of credit unions. However, we suggest that the NCUA’s proposal is too ambitious, and we offer suggestions to balance its potential benefits with the burden of increased regulatory requirements.
