  • One key component of Cybersecurity Awareness Month is multi-factor authentication (MFA), also known as two-factor or two-step authentication. MFA provides extra security by confirming our identities when logging in to accounts, such as sending a code to a phone or generating one by an authenticator app. Even if our passwords become compromised, unauthorized users won't be able to meet the second requirement and will not be able to access our accounts. When you enable MFA, you disable the hackers. Even quick solutions like multi-factor authentication is a strong defense. No matter what you call it, just make sure you use it! #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth #SecureOurWorld #SecureOklahoma
