Primarily filmed in Guthrie, Oklahoma, "Reagan" is now in theatres! Detailing the life of the former U.S. President through the voice of a KGB agent, the biopic, which used the state’s film incentive, stars Dennis Quaid alongside an extensive roster of local talent, including Rachel Cannon, Randy Wayne, Darci Lynne, Robert Peters, Skip Schwink and more. Portions of post-production were completed in Oklahoma, including work from local companies such as Boiling Point Media. OSU-Tulsa is offering an in-person workshop geared for adults who are interested in beginning to work in the film industry Saturday, September 7, 10AM-5PM. Additionally, the final season of "Reservation Dogs" was nominated for Outstanding Locations in a Contemporary Television Series. Our office recently attended the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame's launch event, which previewed the iconic Muskogee venue’s $2.4 million renovation and rebranding. Guest speakers and attendees included Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell, who has helped spearhead the project, Muskogee Mayor Patrick Cale, Oklahoma Tourism Director Shelley Zumwalt, OMHOF Board Members, Narrate Design (Formerly Selser Schaefer Architects), Hampton Creative and more.
