📣💥We are pleased to announce Nancy Villamizar as the new Case Management Director at Ogden Regional Medical Center. Nancy has been in Case Management for the last 11 years at Brigham City Community Hospital and Lakeview Hospital including being the Director of Case Management at Lakeview for the last 8 years. She has a passion for Case Management and has excellent accomplishments as director and Lakeview.  Nancy is a nurse by training and has worked in Transitional Care, Ortho, and Float units Nancy has 3 children and in her spare time loves to be in the mountains snow shoeing, hiking or kayaking. She also enjoys tending to her dogs, cats, and chickens on her small farm. Please join with us in congratulating and welcoming Nancy to the ORMC team! Our dedication to caring like family extends beyond the walls of our hospital into the communities where we live and work. Join us on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 10 am to 2 pm, as we host our annual “Crush the Crisis” prescription drug take back event. We’re joining local police departments and our sister HCA Healthcare hospitals across the nation to raise awareness about the dangers of prescription drug misuse and the importance of safe disposal of unused or expired medications. Community members are invited to safely and anonymously drop off medications at locations across the country, including at Ogden Regional Medical Center. 📣Congratulations Makala Berg, RN with Medical unit, for passing her NCLEX exam. (The National Council Licensure Examination is a nationwide examination for the licensing of nurses in the United States.) This officially makes Makala a Registered Nurse. 🧣Regan was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer - that was the bad news. The good news was that she found special treatment at Ogden Regional to target the cancer, and the support from our team got her through the long journey.

😀 We are very pleased to announce “Jay” Jarard Soriano has accepted the role as Manager of Imaging Services. Jay has worked at ORMC for more than 8 years in the imaging services department. Jay Is a 20 year United States Air Force Retired Veteran, 16 years were spent as an x ray technologist, where he served in multiple modalities to include: General Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Computed Tomography (CT) and Medical Physics. For the last 3 years of his military service, Jay was a USAF First Sergeant, gaining a wealth of Human Resource knowledge, serving as the chief liaison between his squadron commanders and the enlisted force. Upon his retirement, Jay served as an x ray technologist at other Utah hospitals where he furthered his imaging skills as an MRI technologist. In his free time, Jay enjoys the occasional “frustrating fun” rounds of golf, working out, and serves as an Assistant Wrestling Coach at Ogden High School. The 'Gold Shoe' Certificate of Honor Award is presented to ORMC colleagues for giving of exceptional service, living our mission and exhibiting our values. Carrie Becker, RN – Emergency Department has earned a 'Gold Shoe'. From her nomination: Carrie was able to convince a patient who was initially refusing transport to come to the hospital to be evaluated after falling down a flight of stairs. The patient ended up having a skull fracture and a brain bleed and was admitted to IMC.
