Today is National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is up to 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times stronger than morphine. You can’t smell or taste fentanyl. The only way to determine a substance contains fentanyl is by testing for it. We're teaming up with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services to remind Oklahomans that fentanyl test strips and Naloxone (overdose-reversal medication) are available to order online for free. Learn more and order free resources at okimready.org.
