About us
The McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research at New York University is committed to disrupting poverty through research, policy and action. The #AI Hub at McSilver has been established to investigate how artificial intelligence-driven (AI) systems can be used to equitably address poverty and challenges relating to race and public health, and to provide thought leadership on the implications. The Technical Assistance Centers (CTACNY, TTAC and MCTACNY, YTAC) are managed within McSilver, providing training, consultation, and educational resources serving all mental health, substance use disorder and child welfare agencies in New York State, as well as infant and early childhood mental health providers throughout New York City. Our research and policy advocacy are focused on knowledge and interventions that address the consequences of poverty, as well as racial health disparities.
