👏👏Another NYSERDA Buildings of Excellence project is underway! The NYSERDA team attended the groundbreaking for Gail Duke, a fully electric, mixed-use building providing 142 affordable housing units for seniors in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn. The new building will feature heat pump water heaters for hot water, heat pumps for heating and cooling, energy recovery ventilators, solar panels for on-site energy generation, battery backup for resilience, and smart building monitoring for better building performance.
