Servant leadership is the heart of increasing performance and creating team unity in the healthcare industry. Those that lead through a lense of understanding and active engagement with a drowning team in the midst of an intense medical crisis or a busy office day automatically creates an innate trust with the team. When a team goes through a major event together, led by a leader with heart who exemplifies it through showing up, morale and loyalty is strengthened 🌟

Toxic company cultures always lack this one thing: Empathy! Empathy is being able to understand the emotions and needs of others. It's putting yourself in their shoes. When a leader lacks empathy, people are left feeling unappreciated, and unvalued. Empathy not only helps to foster a positive work culture but also ensures every individual feels respected, appreciated, and included - all of which are key elements for any successful organization. If you want to increase employee engagement - Show that you care! It’s doesn’t cost much to show employees that you genuinely care, but it can make the biggest difference in keeping them loyal, happy and engaged. Agree? Let's Talk Digital Age & Nursing.... 🌐 🏥 💡 Nurses, as frontline healthcare providers and the heart of healthcare, are embracing technology to enhance patient care, improve efficiencies, and stay current in the healthcare landscape they practice in. According to the British Journal of Nursing, technology changes and shifts the way nurses function and operate. It allows more streamlined processes, diversity in career opportunities, and changed patient engagement. One of the ways patient engagement has changed is through telehealth. Telehealth has emerged as a game-changer in nursing practice, enabling remote patient monitoring, virtual consultations, and telemedicine services. This technology has not only expanded healthcare access to underserved populations but has also enabled nurses to provide timely interventions and support to patients from a distance. Charting is also constant, cumbersome and time-consuming in which AI and an increase in technology can help offset the mundane stress of such tasks. Electronic medical records have streamlined documentation processes and created quick communication access points between different departments in hospital systems and clinics. Doing so can create more prompt patient care and provide necessary and life saving measures in critical times of need. Despite the many benefits that technology brings to nursing, it also presents challenges such as data privacy concerns, information overload, and the need for ongoing training and upskilling. Additionally, there is a constant need for hospital systems to incorporate these cutting edge resources into their platform. Adequate training on how to actually use these systems and increase efficiency and understanding around the technology can prove to be overwhelming to an already over-loaded nurse caring for patients. The digital age is reshaping the landscape of nursing by offering innovative solutions, improving efficiency, and enhancing patient outcomes. By harnessing the power of technology, nurses can elevate their practice, drive positive change in healthcare delivery, and ultimately, make a lasting impact on the well-being of individuals and communities. Nothing is complicated. We make it complicated. So how do we uncomplicate it? 👇🏼 Complexity is often a product of our own making. So, how do we simplify and find clarity? 1. Focus on the Essentials: Strip away the noise and zero in on what truly matters. Identify your core priorities and align your actions with them. Whiteboard it. (Everyone that has met me knows I love a whiteboard!) 2. Embrace a Growth Mindset: Challenges are opportunities in disguise. Reframe your thinking to see obstacles as chances to learn and grow. 3. Take Responsibility: Own your actions and decisions. When you take responsibility, you empower yourself to make positive changes and make the complicated, uncomplicated. By focusing on the above, you can turn complexity into simplicity and lead with greater purpose and effectiveness. Learn the system with how to do this, in my book: 📖 Hunt or Be Hunted: How Anyone Can Develop Grit and Lead Like a Legend" [Available on Amazon]: (https://a.co/d/5ZobY9o). #Leadership #Grit #Resilience #gogetter #innovation #NoExcuses #purpose #mindset #success #getitdone #ownership #commitment #impact #huntorbehunted #nevergiveup #larajones #keynotespeaker #discipline #author #athlete #gritgirl #determination #achieve #simplify #performance #growth #traininganddevelopment #SalesTeams #futurism #inspiration

Wise and humane management of the patient is the best safeguard against infection.” - Florence Nightingale The heart of healthcare is service and excellence in patient management, and a noticeable trend since COVID-19 is the massive shortage of nurses and other healthcare workers ENGAGING in the healthcare industry. The heart of nursing has always been there. Nurses want to help, but there has been a profound disconnect between how nurses are receiving and experiencing that support, and how organizations are providing it. As a result, patient care and hospital morale can plummet, leading to poor outcomes. NuWell Network helps form a holistically minded community and a strong sense of caring. We encourage nurses to strengthen their morale and reignite their love of their profession so they can then perform daily nursing tasks through a heart of service, based out of a strong foundation of resiliency and community. It’s about creating a heart beat of excellence in nursing again. NuWell Network helps foster personal growth, conversation, and a supportive environment through wellness events and programs (coming soon). Together we can reinforce and create a resilient healthcare community!
