Our team had a great day Making Strides Against Breast Cancer with the American Cancer Society! 💗 This event celebrates courage and hope by moving and uniting our communities to end breast cancer as we know it! Our breast surgeons, Dr. Gabi Barmettler and Dr. Christina Wolchok spoke at the events in the Hudson Valley, NY and Fairfield County, CT. They highlighted the incredible progress in breast cancer care, from screenings to treatments and the importance of mammograms. 💗 Let us know if you walked and why! Please help us welcome Dr. Jasjit Bhinder to our cardiovascular care team! 💙 Dr. Bhinder spends her time caring for our sickest patients, those suffering from heart failure. 🩺 “My greatest reward is taking care of a sick cardiogenic shock patient in the hospital and then following up with them in my office once they have recovered,” Dr. Bhinder said. Following her residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Dr. Bhinder pursued a cardiology fellowship at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, and an advanced heart failure and transplant fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Conn.
