With a Master of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation, Tyler’s expertise has proven invaluable across various applications and industries. He consistently surpasses challenging objectives and demonstrates exceptional dedication and project ownership. His recent presentation on robotics at the ICRA 2024 conference in Japan highlights his remarkable skills and knowledge. Growing up in the mountains east of Fresno, Tyler has a passion for working with animals, and volunteers frequently at local shelters. Additionally, Tyler enjoys the great outdoors— hiking, backpacking, and climbing – as well as restoring his VW bus.  We are incredibly grateful to have Tyler as a part of the Novate team. We're excited to introduce Tim Hayes as the newest addition to the Novate Solutions, Inc., stepping into the role of Engineering Manager. With 24 years of experience in food manufacturing at industry giants like Frito Lay, Kraft, Torani Bottling, and SF Bay Coffee, Tim brings a wealth of expertise in production, maintenance, facilities, and CAPEX management. His leadership has guided teams ranging from 3 to 75, all while driving innovation in automation, line control, and upgrading legacy equipment across packaging, processing, and material handling. Tim, who resides in Sacramento with his wife and their two daughters , has deep roots in his Greek heritage. Originally from Indiana, he holds a special place in his heart for Notre Dame Football, a passion that dates back to his childhood spent on campus and cheering on the team. Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time with his family, supporting his daughters in their swim, soccer, and tee ball activities, and finding moments to hit the golf course. The Novate Solutions, Inc. field and software team was at Cakebread Cellars last week during a planned utility outage in order to complete our work to allow their microturbines to operate in grid interactive mode. This microturbine and utility gride compliant tie-in was a team effort involving multiple organizations including Cal Microturbine, Thern Electric, Novate Solutions, Napa County, PG&E, & Napa fire department.  This solution included CPUC Rule 21 power infrastructure updates, and UL 1741 compliance including validating the electrical load prior to restoration of generated power.  👏 A big shoutout to the Cakebread Cellars facilities team for their continued efforts driving their sustainability initiatives! #PowerSolutions #SustainabilityGoals #TeamWork
