We're revving up pediatric care in Charlotte with the upcoming Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital Tony Stewart Intermediate Care Unit—made possible by a generous donation from Tony Stewart Racing! This six-bed unit will bridge the gap between intensive and general care, providing expert, compassionate care to 2,100 additional children each year in a family-friendly, under-the-sea-themed environment. Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center is helping address the stigma around mental health care with a new psychiatry residency program.    In partnership with the UNC School of Medicine and Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, the program addresses the critical need for mental health support in Eastern North Carolina by offering confidential care to both civilians and military community members experiencing mental health conditions. Strokes can be devastating, but when patients come into our care, they’re welcomed by passionate physicians like Dr. Cara Doyle. Dr. Doyle was introduced to neurology when she spent sick days spent at her mom’s office where the neurologist inspired her career path. 🧠✨ While she explored other areas in medical school, her heart led her back to neurology. Now, she’s a hospitalist at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center!   

As part of our ongoing commitment to expand access to high-quality care in western North Carolina, Novant Health has opened Novant Health Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery - Biltmore Park.
