“I couldn’t have asked for better treatment anywhere. The staff was phenomenal at both the new emergency room and the hospital. Everyone wanted to help. I was scared, but everyone I encountered made sure I was OK and did whatever was necessary to make me comfortable. I feel very fortunate to have gone to Norton facilities and met all these excellent providers and experienced the robotic equipment. I am proud this is available in our community. Thank you, Norton Clark Hospital.”

“Dr. Radtke was the first provider who ever told me, 'It's your body, and I respect whatever choices you make.' That comment sealed the deal, and I knew I had the right physician to provide care to me.” — Katherine, Norton Women’s Care patient. Last December, Katherine was experiencing pain and went to the emergency room with what she thought was a kidney stone. Later, she found out that she actually had a 12.5 cm diploid cyst on her right ovary. She was referred to Steven J. Radtke, M.D., FACOG, FMIGS, who recommended a total hysterectomy. Katherine explained that choosing to have the procedure was daunting, but Dr. Radtke and his team gave her the confidence and reassurance she needed to move forward. Looking back, Katherine felt the surgery was the best decision she could have made. The minimal discomfort post-surgery surprised her, and she quickly returned to her normal life. Katherine expressed her gratitude for Dr. Radtke, Kerry W. Curtiss, APRN, and the entire Norton Women’s Care team.
