If anyone can recognize exceptional nursing care, it’s another nurse. Recently, a patient’s wife, who is a former nurse, nominated Sarah Holles, BSN, RN, 8th Floor Pavilion, for the DAISY Award. The nomination recognized Sarah as caring, knowledgeable and attentive. “Sarah gave my husband the time he needed and made him feel like her only patient. Sarah is what the DAISY Award stands for. She is an awesome nurse,” wrote the former nurse in the nomination.
