The World's Best-Connected Mobile Operations Solutions
About us
In 2002, four friends who'd been guiding raft trips in Northwest Montana noticed a lack of modern connectivity on wildfire front lines. An opportunity to serve the greater good had presented itself and Nomad Global Communication Solutions (Nomad GCS) was launched. Many things have changed since those early days, but Nomad’s core, guiding principle has not—everything we do revolves around our customers' mission success, an ethos summed up by a promise: Connected customers, at all times, anywhere in the world. Today, Nomad is a world-leading manufacturer of Engineer-to-Order (ETO), Connected Mobile Operations Centers (CMOCs). Our team of 300 serves defense, public safety, emergency operations, healthcare, telco, education, and other customers at the intersection of mission mobilization, operational control, and connectivity. Nomad's full-line production includes self-contained engineering, manufacturing, technology integration, and support. Our mission-driven approach and laser focus on the safety, security, simplicity, speed, and reliability of our solutions stands alone in the industry. Customers trust Nomad to empower critical deployments… When every minute matters.

We just learned that the Tactical Command Vehicle (TCV) has been voted "Coolest Thing Made In Montana" by a large business. Nomad's been building cool things for over two decades, so it's an honor to be recognized. But, it's our customers — who serve the world's most critical missions in defense, disaster response, public safety, telco, and more — that deserve the real kudos. Our customers innovate alongside us to create cutting-edge solutions that simply perform better ... When every minute matters. Thank you to the Montana Chamber of Commerce, everyone who voted, and of course the 300 Nomad employees who make it all possible. Time to celebrate! 🎉 ***** More about the TCV platform: https://lnkd.in/eTshXVyM

Interop is critical. Collaboration is everything. This week, Nomad once again had the honor of sponsoring and participating in the Central States Communications Association annual exercise — now officially the largest public safety comms exercise in the United States. It was great to connect with customers and partners, and see Nomad-built solutions in action. We had lots of productive conversations around SATCOM, cellular bonding and blending, interagency cooperation, and bridging communications gaps in emergency management. Watch for some practical takeaways you can apply in your mobile operations... Big changes are underway in satellite communications. 🛰️ Some Nomad customers are expressing an interest in Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) providers, and we've already helped many make the transition. You might have questions about LEO. Is the technology reliable and resilient enough for public safety, emergency operations, and other critical communications? What about administration and support? Who manages billing? Can you get someone on the phone when you need help? This article will get you started. When you're ready to build the SATCOM package that's right for your mission, Nomad is here to help. Contact us today: https://lnkd.in/erHrKGMH #wheneveryminutematters

Our customers with T-Mobile Emergency Management shared this photo of a Nomad TCV supporting California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) operations at the devastating Park Fire. Increasingly, private sector organizations are responding to disaster front lines to maintain connectivity, ensure safety and security, and protect lives and property. A reminder that robust, resilient mobile operations are critical... When every minute matters. Thank you to T-Mobile, responders everywhere, and our team for the important work you do!

Lewis and Clark County Sheriff's Office visited Nomad GCS in Northwest Montana to take delivery of its new "Mobile Emergency Command Response Vehicle (MECRV)." This shared asset will respond to and manage emergency action events, not only in the county, but also statewide. Agency officials tried to shake hands with every Nomad associate who worked on the truck, and later asked for a group photo for the department's scrapbook. Thank you to our customers for the opportunity to serve, and to our incredible employees for another job superbly done. #wheneveryminutematters
