Meet Maddy! In 2023, she faced a life-threatening leukemia diagnosis, leading to an urgent need for a blood stem cell transplant. With no full matches on the registry, she was enrolled in an NMDP-sponsored clinical trial that's part of our Donor for All initiative aimed at safely unlocking access to transplant using partially matched donors. Thanks to a 9/10 donor match, she received her transplant and has returned to doing the activities she loves, like gardening and dining with friends. After exchanging anonymous letters over the last year, Maddy will finally get to meet her selfless donor, Jane, at this year's The ONE Forum by NMDP!
