As we near the end of Mental Health Awareness Month, the NFL Player Care Foundation strives to continue prioritizing the well-being of former players and promoting open conversations about mental health beyond May. Our organization's mission is to improve the quality of life of former NFL players; and mental health is a core component of overall well-being. It can help you cope with life's stressors, increase overall satisfaction with your individual journey, maintain valuable human connections, and identify your potential for growth. We hope this short video serves as a reminder that dealing with life's challenges can be overwhelming, and everyone deserves to feel empowered to seek help when needed. PCF supports former players year-round through its various mental health and financial programs. We have three social workers on staff to help former players navigate their options and locate resources that best fit their needs. Last week, more than 15 organizations and NFL partners joined the NFL Player Care Foundation (PCF) for the 2024 Employer Kickoff Summit at NFL Films. Organizations such as Accenture, Microsoft, PepsiCo, Toyota, Verizon, Visa, and more immersed themselves in a day packed with presentations, panels, and powerful discussions around the transferable skills from football and ways their organizations can hire NFL Legends.

We were honored to continue our work with the NFL Player Care Foundation (PCF) during the 2024 Employer Kickoff Summit last week. It was a privilege to facilitate a panel with a few of our NFL Legends (now Leapers!) that completed our program to highlight their learnings and the value of Microsoft Leap in building not just their technical skillset, but also the confidence to pursue new careers in tech. Thank you to our panelists and to everyone who helped bring this event to life!

From the San Francisco 49ers to the board room – Ronald is a team leader with skills and passions spanning tech, communications, human resources, and community development. Did you also know that Ronald holds his Masters of Public Administration, and recently enrolled into additional technical certification programs? Whether it's on-or-off the field, one thing remains constant for Ronald: a commitment to learning and getting better. And while Ronald may be a professional athlete who has competed at the highest level – that hardly scratches the surface of who Ronald really is. Keep raising the bar and telling your story, Ronald.
