💛 Gandhi Jayanti: Celebrating Humanity and Hope 💛 Today, we honor the remarkable legacy of Mahatma Gandhi, a man whose ideals have inspired millions across the globe. This day marks the birth of a visionary leader who played a crucial role in India’s independence. Gandhi’s life exemplified the transformative power of truth and non-violence, and his social principles resonate as profoundly today as they did during his time. In the spirit of his teachings, we embrace the words: "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." Happy Gandhi Jayanti! #NLPA #GandhiJayanti #India #UnityInDiversity

Boeing has lost $33.3 billion since 2019, with the brand nearly crashing that same year. Not only that: ↱It also recorded a net loss of 87 aircraft orders. ↱Airline customers canceled 183 orders for the 737 MAX. ↱Boeing only received 96 orders for other aircraft. Our latest blog on optimizing supplier onboarding explores this case. Curious about improving supplier onboarding in procurement and purchasing? Be sure to check it out. 👉 https://zurl.co/aUaO Boeing’s story is one of the most brutal examples of how supplier onboarding almost tanked a business. The company adopted a new business model for its 787 Dreamliner. They needed to cut costs and speed up production by leveraging specialized expertise from around the world. So, 50 suppliers were onboarded, many responsible for critical parts like fuselages, wings, and electronics. So what went wrong? ↳New suppliers had little experience working on large aircraft projects. They couldn’t meet Boeing’s quality standards and deadlines. ↳There were significant delays in parts delivery, and many components arrived defective or incomplete. ↳Communication gaps worsened the first two issues. A well-structured supplier onboarding process could have prevented or lessened the problems. Until Boeing got this right, their reputation remained tarnished. Even today, the effects of that damage are still palpable.

When businesses are considering nearshoring or offshoring, it often seems like a slam dunk. The whole point is to SLASH COSTS, right? Well, it's not always that straightforward. Many companies relocate their operations overseas to tap into cheaper labor and resources than what’s available in the U.S. But what they don’t realize is that more rigorous planning should have been done as they face higher-than-expected costs. Nearshoring and offshoring are effective moves to cut operational expenses. But how do you determine the right strategy? Here’s a guide to understanding nearshoring and offshoring while taking into account the merits and demerits in each case. ➤ https://zurl.co/vu8t #NLPA #Nearshoring #Offshoring #CostCutting #BusinessStrategy #procurement
