Running with Business - Wasatch 100 During the Wasatch 100 run last week, a few things crossed my mind with regard to being successful in life. I felt there was some correlation to business. 1 - Accept and receive advice (network) from those who have gone before you. 2 - Practice, practice and practice some more. 3 - Simulate the worst case scenarios and be ready to handle them. 4 - If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. 5 - Enjoy spending time in heat and under pressure. 6 - It is all a mental game, keep grounded. 7 - Problem solve on the go, the best do it. 8 - It is a long path, don't go too hard or too slow, find "you"! 9 - Have a strong support group; when you break down in the cold, dark night, their support will get you back up. 10 - Lastly, thank those who helped you get there. No one does it without a team. Thanks Nate Allred, Ken Duncan and Jacob Bateman, this race was for you guys. Much love to those that reached out before, during and after the race to send their support. You guys will never know how much it meant.
