About us

New Jersey Conservation Foundation is a private non-profit whose mission is to preserve land and natural resources throughout New Jersey for the benefit of all. Founded in 1960, we protect strategic lands through acquisition and stewardship, promote strong land use policies, and forge partnerships to achieve conservation goals. During the past 50 years, we have helped protect more than 125,000 acres of forests, farms, parks, wetlands and other special places.
