Congressman Chris Pappas, a three-term Democrat, is now facing Russell Prescott, a former Republican executive councilor with a similar calm, cordial campaigning style as Pappas. As NHPR's Todd Bookman reports, both candidates are working to appeal to undeclared voters in the 1st Congressional District ahead of the Nov. 5 general election. “With over 40% of New Hampshire being unaffiliated, you have to always remember that,” state Senate President Jeb Bradley, a Republican who won the district in 2002.
