The Small Business Technical Assistance Program (SBTAP) went to Berlin to work with two auto body shops with their Small Quantity Generator Self-Certification forms. Lamoureux Auto Body is working on restoring a 1957 Thunderbird. Small Business Technical Assistance Program and Small Quantity Generator Program collaborated to assist an auto repair/auto body shop in Milford on management of hazardous waste. The partnership between the programs creates opportunities to learn and support each other's missions, which is to educate the small business community on environmental rules and regulations. This shop is working on restoring a 1964-1/2 Ford Mustang and a 1948 Harley Davidson Ironhead Sportster. #smallbusinessassistance #sbtap

The shop recently has changed from auto body to auto repair. We were at the New Hampshire Fire Academy’s Aircraft Rescue Training Facility in Concord today announcing details of the new Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) Take Back Program spearheaded by NHDES in partnership with the New Hampshire Department of Safety and NH State Fire Marshal's Office. The legacy stockpiles of PFAS-containing foam are being collected from fire departments across the state and will be disposed of using technology that destroys the PFAS.
