Among the different forms of exercise that one can engage in, low-intensity steady-state (LISS) cardio, a joint-friendly workout that makes sticking with it easier. LISS cardio is a type of aerobic exercise that’s done at a consistent, moderate pace, usually for 30 to 60 minutes. Physicians and exercise professionals consider this a great option for people 50 and up to meet physical activity guidelines that call for at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity a week.
