As temperatures drop, our public service crews are gearing up for winter. Did you know that New Albany maintains over 372 lane miles across 254 streets—residential, commercial, and highways—using de-icing liquids, plows, and salt? Crews also clear snow from public parking lots and sidewalks on City property, working 24/7 to ensure roads are safe within 24 hours of each snowfall. Every year, our team members hone their skills in a "Snow Warrior Roadeo" to ensure they’re prepared. Director of Public Service Michael E. Barker explains the training in this video! #NewAlbanyOhio

Congratulations to Fran Horowitz on this significant recognition! Abercrombie & Fitch Co. was one of the first partners to put the New Albany International Business Park on the map, and it continues to be our largest employer. The income tax contributions from A&F Co. and its employees have laid the foundation upon which all of our outstanding municipal services are built. We are very excited to see A&F Co. flourishing under Fran's leadership! #newalbanyohio

On October 1, our first responders faced off against the New Albany Special Olympics (NASO) athletes in their annual flag football game that celebrates inclusion and community. For over five years, this fun and competitive event has brought awareness to the abilities of individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. Highlighted on NASO's schedule, the game is a favorite, with athletes eagerly reminding the NAPD of past victories—and future ones! While everyone enjoys the thrill of competition, it’s the athletes determination and spirit that truly inspire us all. #NewAlbanyOhio
