Part of what the NDIA MI Board does is develop ways we, as an organization, can help the Michigan Defense Industrial Base (DIB), especially when it comes to pain-points. One hot topic is addressing the struggle small businesses are facing trying to become CMMC certified. Based on this article, it sounds like the Army understands the pain is real as it implements a pilot solution with the launch its Next-Generation Commercial Operations in Defended Enclaves (NCODE) program. If you have suggestions on how the NDIA MI can assist those struggling with CMMC, please contact us. https://lnkd.in/gZiu669D

Its STEM Time! One of the biggest ways the Chapter gives back is through its STEM efforts support. One of our top priorities is to support K-12 and college students through collaborating, sponsoring, and hosting programs which excite young people in STEM fields. Our first effort is to award schools, educational organizations and institutions with STEM programs with NDIA Michigan STEM Sponsorships. If you know of a Michigan STEM program in need of extra funds for materials, technology, tournament entries, or even transportation, have them complete an application today. The NDIA Michigan is accepting applications now, between Oct 1 - Nov 29. Additional details and applications can be found HERE: https://lnkd.in/gbphcTjK

Another tremendous, informative and insightful Michigan CODEL Breakfast. Besides the FY25 Defense budget, the primary focus was Defense and Aerospace growth in Michigan. We are poised with the capabilities and talent; let's broadcast this message to the rest of the country. And a big thank you to SAPA Transmission, Inc. for being a welcoming host.

Patriot Day is our Nation's Day of Service and Remembrance. We will NEVER forget the 2,996 who lost their lives on 9-11 as a result of the three horrific terrorist attacks against the U.S. Nor will we forget where we were the morning the tragic events took place. All Gave Some; Some Gave All. NEVER FORGET and God Bless the U.S.A.
