Governor Roy Cooper today urged local and tribal governments, nonprofits and internet service providers to submit data challenging eligible locations for inclusion in the National Telecommunications and Information Administration's BEAD program. The program, which launches in 2025, will provides $1.5 billion to North Carolina for high-speed internet infrastructure deployments.
