Mahalo to everyone who kicked off the 2024-2025 fiscal year with us at NAWIC Hawai’i Chapter 114 October GMM + Committee Drive! It was great hearing from each committee as they shared why we should get involved and what they need support with. The passion, energy and enthusiasm that filled the room was truly inspiring! It takes a village to make this organization run and we NEED your help! IN ADDITION: Each year, we host the Salvation Army Family Treatment Services Gift Giving + Party! We set up the giving tree last night, if you chose an ornament - please purchase a gift between $20-$30 (mothers and their children: ages newborn to 12 yrs depending on what ornament you chose). Bring your unwrapped gift to the Holiday Event - Western Wonderland on Dec. 12 at AAHII. We will gather volunteers on Dec. 18 to wrap those gifts and host a party/celebration on Dec. 20 for the mothers and children with food, fun + games! *Stay tuned, flyer to follow soon! We celebrated 16 "women-in" organizations in Hawaii and listened to amazing speakers about their passion and what they stand for. The energy in the room with over 100+ mana wahine (and a few men) was amazing! There was such great networking, cross pollinating, connecting, reconnecting, and so many good laughs were had! We built on the foundation of our inaugural event last year which was chaired by Amy Bentz, Mary Kutscherenko Mary de la Torre.
