Last week Mrs. Erifili Tsironi, Navios Partners CFO and Captain Dimitris Agrimis, Navios Partners Commercial & Vetting Director were speakers at the “ESG Shipping Awards 2024 The Conference” in Athens, Greece.   Mrs. Tsironi highlighted how Navios Partners’ governance structure ensures strong oversight and safeguards the interests of both the organization and its stakeholders and the way the company engages employees in governance practices and warrants their concerns are heard. Captain Dimitris Agrimis focused on the importance that repeated, well-designed, and broad-based training has to crew performance improvement and safety enhancement. Navios’ priority is the safety of the crew, the vessel and the protection of the environment. Captain Agrimis also presented the “Well-Being Champions”—a training program for the “top four” onboard, on the administration of first aid in case of an emergency, which is an important skill onboard to help preserve life.  Navios Partners received the Gold Governance Leader Award, the Silver People Leader Award, and the Motivation Award for the Maritime Emissions Reduction Centre (M-ERC) initiative at the ESG Shipping Awards International 2024. #ESGShippingAwards2024 #sustainability #corporategovernance #safety #socialresponsibility

Navios Partners took delivery of the Nave Polaris, the second Aframax/LR2 Product Tanker vessel from a total of 14 similar vessels under construction. The Nave Polaris, 115,699 dwt, is scrubber-fitted and is equipped with Framo Pumps. The Nave Polaris has been designed with the latest environmentally friendly technology to optimize energy efficiency and safety, therefore in line with our decarbonization culture.
