Navina transforms primary care with an intelligible, actionable platform for better diagnosis and care.

About us

Navina was born with the vision to create a new world where the time-consuming chaos of patient data is replaced by a logical actionable platform that makes it possible for every physician to assess even the most complex cases in minutes. Our technology creates a new era of simplicity by restructuring disorganized data into an intelligible patient portrait, intuitively organized for sophisticated and empathetic patient care. We use AI and machine learning to make sure that what's most important is immediately clear, diagnostically linked, and contextually surfaced, so physicians can have the entirety of each patient’s data. The result: optimum patient wellness and enhanced financial performance for providers and payers. Navina is a partner of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Innovation Lab.

"When we were looking at AI, there are a lot of programs out there that were competitors to this, but they didn’t have the features we were looking for, or the ability to pay for itself. And Navina has listened to us." In a new interview with Mark Hagland of Healthcare Innovation , Dr. Benjamin Cook, chair of family medicine and population health at Jefferson City Medical Group, shares his hands-on experience using Navina's AI solution, which has saved valuable time for physicians and helped improve value-based outcomes. Dr. Cook's biggest lesson so far? "We should have done it a lot sooner!"  Read the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/evG9pPZE...

"The way to get adoption is to be useful. If you're a platform that is only optimized for organizational needs, you'll probably get less adoption than a platform like Navina that was designed from the ground up to be clinically useful." In this fascinating new episode of the Healthcare Trailblazers Podcast, host Mendel Erlenwein conducted an in-depth conversation with Navina's Chief Medical Officer Dr. Yair Lewis on the state of AI in healthcare. This is a rare opportunity to hear about the thinking that informs the development of Navina's solution—and why it's valuable to the thousands of clinicians who've made it an indispensable part of their workflows. Navigating patient records can be complex with health histories scattered across multiple platforms and unstructured data. From this fragmented chaos, clinicians and HCC coders face the thankless annual task of constructing a complete list of conditions for each and every patient. "Precision in Practice: Multi-Source Data Reconciliation for Risk Adjustment" explores how Navina's powerful AI turns fragmented multi-source data into comprehensive and coherent clinical recommendations at the point of care, dramatically improving risk adjustment accuracy. Did you know that 60% of documents in the electronic medical records come with improper identification, such as the wrong title? Or that one in four documents have the wrong date—or no date at all? Those are just two of the many significant gaps in basic document information that we’ve found in our research. In the best case, these gaps make it difficult for clinicians to find the data they’re looking for. But they can also lead to confusion when, for example, a colonoscopy record uploaded in 2023 describes a procedure done in 2012. Luckily, AI can help turn this chaos into clarity. Our white paper explores how our purpose-built models clean up messy documents, properly classify them, and extract the information clinicians need at the point of care.
