This week, we held a #communitysolar farm tour at one of our farms in Standish, Maine. We teamed up with our partners at Maine Community Solar to bring subscribers on an exclusive behind the scenes tour of our #solar farm. We love giving our subscribers the opportunity to see up close and personal how their decision to switch to #renewablenergy is really benefiting the community and the planet. Say hello to Jonida Jay Thaci, Structuring Manager. 👋 We're highlighting Jonida this month as part of our #employee spotlight series. With over 7 years of experience in the #energy investment sector, her role at Nautilus involves structuring complex solar asset acquisition deals by participating in M&A portfolio acquisitions, Capital Markets Financing, and long-term ownership of projects. Her work is fueled by a passion for innovation in #finance and a dedication to integrating diverse perspectives into the fabric of our company’s culture. She has an MBA in Finance & Investment Banking from Fordham Gabelli School of Business and a BS from Kean University in Business Management with a minor in International Business. Here are some fun facts about Jonida: - She speaks 5 different languages. - She has visited more than 50 countries. - She loves to practice yoga, go skydiving and surfing. - She is originally from Albania but moved to NYC at 13 and has lived there ever since. We are so thankful to have her on our team!

We were featured on #Delmarva Life again! Our brand new #communitysolar farm in Salisbury, Maryland broke ground earlier this month and we're still celebrating the 1.7M KW of #renewableenergy that it will produce.

Thanks Solar Power World for covering this exciting milestone for Nautilus Solar Energy! Our 2.8-MW Altamont #communitysolar project at the former Schenectady Army Depot is the first of its kind on a formerly used defense site in the U.S. Despite the challenges of building on capped #landfills, we've successfully transformed a restricted site into a #sustainable energy source for the community. “We had to really run down every potential issue in advance to make sure that we’d planned for it, priced for it, protected against it, mitigated it, so that it would be a smooth construction and then operation going forward,” Senior Manager of Structuring Rupal Bain said. This project showcases our commitment to innovative solutions and highlights the potential for repurposing similar lands across the country. Last week, we put on our first #ClimateWeekNYC event with The Green Journey! We celebrated the completion of Megan Claire Routbort & Thomas Polo's solar-powered trike journey across America. Everyone in attendance had the chance to sit in and test out the trikes and hear some highlights from their months long journey. Overall, it was an awesome event and we learned a ton! #solar #climatechange

Earlier this week, we had the honor to host a #ribboncutting with the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce at our brand-new Salisbury, #Maryland community solar farm! We welcomed members of the Chamber, local subscribers, town council members and others at our 2.9MW solar farm. Our Project Manager Christopher Davin gave everybody a detailed solar farm tour, and they got to hear from Eric LaMora & Bill Chambers, the president of the Chamber of Commerce. We're proud of this #solar farm which services 291 local subscribers, including some small businesses. Thanks to everybody who came out!

Meet Tyler Will, Community Relations Manager. 👋 We're highlighting Tyler this month as part of our #employee spotlight series. He has been with Nautilus for three months, bringing a decade of experience in the #utility sector. He is passionate about building impactful relationships within communities to build support for #communitysolar policy and project developments in emerging markets nationwide. Tyler was brought on board to develop strong partnerships and strategies that deliver benefits to communities beyond just the photons being delivered. As a proud Blugold, Tyler holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. From Wisconsin, he enjoys paddle boarding, swimming, and kayaking on the beautiful lakes and rivers of the Midwest. He also loves live music and attends concerts year-round.
