Absolutely amazing 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
It’s almost been a month since the National Sales Network (Headquarters) conference in Houston, and I am still floating on cloud 9 as I reflect on all of my experiences this year. One of my favorite moments was seeing this incredibly talented young lady as seeing her made for a full circle moment. I met Jennifer Henderson in 2015 at the NSN conference in Houston. I was working there as a recruiter for Lilly. A highly-respected friend in the industry introduced us and asked if we had any openings. I happened to have 2 openings and was scouting talent. Jennifer had an interesting story. She was living in Atlanta and was working in sales for a paint company while striving to get into Pharma sales. She was an active member of the Atlanta chapter of NSN and played an active role in their marketing team. She was hungry, humble, and incredibly smart, and someone I thought would make an ideal team player. 😊 She proved that during her interview. I hired Jennifer and she moved to Beaumont, TX sight unseen. For anyone who knows Beaumont, there’s a stark difference between Beaumont and Atlanta. Nevertheless, Jennifer hit the ground running. Not only did she make an immediate impact with her sales performance, but she became an engrained member of the community in Beaumont and an additional family member to many of her customers because of their respect for her and how she handled her business. Over time we both migrated to different companies and different states, but still keep in touch on social media. She is now a wife and a mother with a beautiful family and it’s been awesome to watch her grow both personally and professionally. Seeing each other in Houston at the NSN was an amazing moment and a reminder that the connections made at the conference can actually change lives and create life long friendships. #NSN #Houston #changelives #pharmasales
