About us

The National Children’s Cancer Society (NCCS) tirelessly and compassionately supports families making their way through the daunting world of childhood cancer. With nearly forty years of experience serving over 50,000 children, NCCS has become a master navigator of this world, helping families get where they need to be – physically, financially and emotionally – to give them hope and to give their children the best possible shot at survival. Because no family should go through childhood cancer alone. The NCCS is a 501C(3) non-profit organization that is proud to meet all of the Better Business Bureau's "Standards of Charity Accountability," which includes a comprehensive, in-depth evaluation of charity governance, fundraising practices, solicitations and informational materials. Our organization is also GuideStar Platinum Nonprofit Profile participant.
