This past week, the Big "I" Diversity Council gathered in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America Fall Leadership Conference for our annual fall meeting. I’m continually inspired by the passionate and committed professionals who drive this important work. Together, despite the ever-changing DEI landscape, we’re ensuring that diversity, equity, and inclusion stay at the forefront of our actions, initiatives, and industry's future! Through insightful discussions, action planning, critical collaborations, and partnerships we're shaping initiatives that will strengthen inclusion and equity and make a lasting impact. A heartfelt thanks to our chair, Brandon Okita, company partners, agent committee members, state executive members, Big “I” Leadership, association partners, and special guests, Kevin E. Hooks from NAAIA - National African American Insurance Association and Raumert Hubert from NAAIA NY - National African American Insurance Association - New York Tri-State for their invaluable contributions. A, huge special thanks to Beth Montgomery for her leadership while I was out sick and unable to travel! :) Join us in this important work. Feel free to message me here on LinkedIn or email me if you'd like more information on how you can get involved. #DiversityInInsurance #DiversityEquityInclusionAccessBelonging #InsuranceIndustry Pictured left to right: Beth Montgomery, Brandon Okita, Jeff Smith, Jeanette Madrid, Stephanie Morrison, Tonya Ray Bailey, CPCU, CLCS, CPRIA, Ricky Jones, Kelly Byrom (she/her), Shay Conyers, Lisa Lounsbury, CAE, AAI, AIS, Caren Latona,Myrna Estrada, Gloria Ellis, Les Jackson, Antonina J., Rev.
