As weather- and climate-related disasters continue to rise in frequency and intensity, it is more important than ever to train and be prepared for emergencies! 💪🏽🦺 For Latino leaders like City of El Monte Mayor Pro Tem Dr. Julia Ruedas, Phoenix E.S.D Board Member Reggie Carrillo for Phoenix El, and Compton College Trustee Sonia Lopez, it is crucial to be prepared for and address any disaster. Every year during #NationalPreparednessMonth, our organization convenes Latino policymakers from across the nation to provide tools and resources to help them prepare for, mitigate, and respond to various emergencies that could occur in their communities. Thank you to our long-standing partner, State Farm, whose generous support makes this work possible! #NALEOReady
